Mission of PT. JASUDA

JASUDA is dedicated to the development of seaplants as a foundation for integrated multi-tropics aquaculture (IMTA) and near-source value addition by linking alliance networks, fostering innovation and implementing business systems that integrate tropical Asian aquaculture enterprises into sustainable global value chains.

How to achieve?

1. Collaborating with Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSME) to develop sustainable value chain for tropical seaplants.

2. Providing information and other enterprise essentials to MSME in seaplant value chains

3. Aggregating seaplant farmers into a viable enterprise unit that able to do transaction globally.

4. Developing the reliable traceable source for “ingredient building block” for solution provider in the global market.

Goal of PT. JASUDA

Develop and operate value adding, information technology and management systems for MSME and will connect them to markets through traceable value chains. This goal will be reach by:

1. Providing technical assistance to increase productivity, seaplants variability which responsive to market needs.

2. Developing near source processing facility and produce adding value.

3. Acting as “honest broker” within the value chain

JASUDA PROFILE

1. Core Partner

JaSuDa’s role could be as a Core Partner, since JaSuDa has experience or capabilities to lead and working collaboratively with information technology and community engagement to ensure completion of deliverables and collaborates with staff or partners at various levels.

2. Training Partner (Trainer)

JaSuDa role that could be performed for training:

- Technical, vocational and soft skills training to increase seaweed farmers, exporters, processors have competencies and capability to run seaweed business.

- Business and life skills training to assist clients to become successful entrepreneurs on seaweed industry.

3. Business Linkage.

Jasuda role in business linkages:

- Business gathering with relevant stakeholders.

- Development of online and offline marketing system.

- Provide technical assistance for clients or entrepreneur to be able to met user/buyer specific needs on seaweed industry.

4. Business Development Service.

JaSuDa role in BDS:

- Technical assistance and market access.

WHAT IS JASUDA?

JASUDA was an initiative of International Finance Corporation Advisory Services (IFC-AS). This program was fully funded by IFC, Asian Development Bank (ADB), The government of Australia, Canada, Nederlands, Japan and Switzerland. The project implemented on April 2004 to June 2008 in 5 provinces in Eastern Indonesia.

JASUDA is an organization that provides services for seaplant farmers and MSME in developing sustainable seaplant sources. Support MSME to produce value adding product and linking seaplant farmers to global user in transparent, efficient, ethic and in sustainable manner. JASUDA is focusing on sustainable culture and value chain supported by modern IT and fostering strategic business alliance.
